At Wandering Wild Yoga we have been running yoga classes, retreats and workshops for over six years from our studio The Yoga Space at Meon Springs, East Meon in Hampshire. Set in the backdrop of the rolling hills of the South Downs it is a wonderful place to pause, take a breath and explore the practice of yoga.
Our classes are based on the principles of hatha yoga and vinyasa flow - combining breath work, meditation, and flowing movement to help you connect with your body, calm your minds, and cultivate a sense peace. It is a wonderful way to enjoy yoga and is suitable for everyone, whether you are a beginner or more experienced.
Stacey, your teacher, is a great believer in making yoga accessible by adapting the classes to suit your individual needs, suggesting variations and using props such as chairs, bolsters and cushions to help you ease tension and discomfort in your body.
Wandering Wild Yoga can be found at Meon Springs, East Meon, which is nestled in the beautiful Meon Valley in easy reach of Petersfield. Our studio 'The Yoga Space' is where we hold yoga classes, sound baths, yoga retreats, workshops and Mindful Wanders, our wild yoga sessions.
The space has been lovingly created as a safe and inclusive place for you to discover the joy of yoga and explore the transformative power of this ancient practise.
Mindful Wanders bring together walking, wild yoga and meditation in beautiful natural setting across the Meon Valley and South Downs.
Mindful Wanders start with the group coming together for a guided breathing practise and intention setting. We then take a gentle walk in silence to the chosen outdoor space for the yoga practise, which could be in woodland or on top of a hill or even a sacred piece of land. As you wander you will begin to experience a calmness as you centre your breath, become conscious of each step and connect to the nature around you. You will be invited into a circle for a moment of connection before being guided through different yoga poses using the trees, skyline and ground beneath you for support and inspiration. The practise closes with a nature inspired meditation before a silent wander back.
