Stretch & Stride

Stretch & Stride is a half-day that brings yoga, walking and community together in a simple, enjoyable way. It's for anyone who likes to move, spend time outdoors, and be around friendly people.

Together, Helena and Stacey bring a shared love of being outside to offer a morning that feels active and uplifting, a chance to step out of the usual routine, spend time with good people and come away feeling lighter and more energised.

Overview

9:00am – Arrive at The Yoga Space

The morning starts at The Yoga Space, East Meon with Stacey for a welcoming and energising yoga session to help everyone settle in, warm up and feel ready for the walk.

10am – Guided 10km walk on the South Downs

After yoga, Helena will lead an approx. 10km walk across the South Downs, taking in the rolling hills and the views around Old Winchester Hill.

Around 1pm – Return to The Yoga Space

Settle the body with a 45‑minute restorative yoga session to support relaxation and round off the morning.

1:30pm – Finish

Leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and lifted by time outdoors and gentle movement.

The pace will be steady and active, with a few mindful moments along the way, but mostly it’s about being outside, moving your body, meeting new people, and enjoying the landscape together.

Halfway round, the group stops for hot drinks and a homemade bake, provided by us a simple, welcome pause before the final stretch.

What to bring

Dress for the weather and be ready for a 10km walk. Comfortable walking shoes or boots are essential, along with a water bottle and any layers you might want for the hills. Yoga mats are provided, but feel free to bring your own. A small backpack is useful for carrying your bits while we’re out. Lunch isn’t included, so you may want to bring something to eat after the final yoga session. Hot drinks and a homemade bake are provided on the walk.

Cost: £45pp

All bookings are non‑refundable, as places are limited and planned in advance.

Please note timings are approximate and will depend on the pace of the group on the day.

stretch and stride FAQS

Please reach us at info@wanderingwildyoga.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Not at all. Every Stretch & Stride is designed to feel fresh. The routes change each time, and so do the yoga sessions, so whether it’s your first or your fifth, you’ll always experience something new.

We start and finish at The Yoga Space in East Meon. There is plenty of parking available. Full details will be sent after booking.

Hot drinks and a homemade bake are included during the walk. Lunch isn’t provided, so you may want to bring something to eat after the final yoga session, or a small snack for the walk if you think you’ll want it.

We’re total dog people, but for this one we’re keeping it dog‑free so you can focus on you and the experience.

If you’re comfortable walking 10km at a steady pace, you’ll be absolutely fine. The walk isn’t rushed, and there are plenty of gentle pauses along the way.

Not at all. Both yoga sessions are accessible, steady and suitable for all levels. You can take everything at your own pace.

Comfortable walking shoes or boots, weather‑appropriate layers, a water bottle and a small backpack. Yoga mats are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own.

We walk in all weathers, so please come prepared for whatever the day brings. The route we use is safe in all conditions, and we will adapt the pace and pauses to keep everyone comfortable.
